So here it is. My last post to fruitlooped. The time has come for me to delete this old blog and move on to bigger and better things. I will really miss this space…it’s been mine for almost 3 years now. But I feel deep down, that I need a change. I need a fresh start and clean slate. A place that when I log on – I don’t see the years of disappointment stacking up like lego’s. For reasons I won’t mention again…I can’t post the name of the new blog. But leave a comment if you wanna follow us over to our new place Goodbye old friends.

thinking of Linus…

This afternoon I started going through my blog roll and my heart got so heavy when I started reading about Linus’ latest struggles. His mom’s are being so strong and I am in awe of them and this little fellow who has just been put through the ringer.

Linus has heart problems and has already been through surgery to help correct them…but it didn’t really work. Now there is talk of another surgery only this one carries a pretty high fatality rate…somewhere around 36%. If you haven’t yet stopped over here to offer some support, please do so. These are some pretty amazing people and I’m sure they could use it right about now.

I’m praying for Linus and his family tonight…I hope you will join me.

I had my very first yoga session yesterday and it was AWESOME! I have been wanting to try it for a while but really was apprehensive because of previous injuries. But after being reassured that as long as I didn’t do more than my body could handle I would be fine, I gave it a whirl. The results could be felt immediately! Even this morning when I woke up I usually have that kinda stiff feeling… not this morning! I got right out and had no pain at all! What a blessing to have been turned on to this practice, I am so thankful for my curiosity lol.

In other news, we are anxiously awaiting word from our attorney. In the mean time I am temping religiously. My chart looks like a hot mess, I mean for real, yesterday was 96.8 I had some spotting and thought okay time for my period. Then this morning it went up to 97.3…no spotting…so maybe not AF after all? Weight loss is going OH SO SLOWLY! I lost, then gained, and then lost the same weight over the last 2 weeks. I’m trying but, it’s a slow process with a semi injured back so, it’s not coming off near as fast as I want it to. It’s getting kinda frustrating…grrr. That’s about it for today – will update tomorrow when/if we know more from BAL.

the race is on…

I finally talked my mom into doing a 5k with me! We are going to be doing the Tulip Trot 5k run/walk/roll for Parkinson’s disease. The race is in Tallahassee so we will get to see my aunt while we are there We started training this past sunday! I think this week and maybe next I will jog a little but mostly walk just to get back into the groove of things. Then I will start the C25K training regime again to get back to peak performance. If I feel good enough by April I might do a race in St. Augustine, but we will just have to wait and see.

Please pray for no injuries for either one of us lol OH and I almost forgot to mention I am down 3.3 lbs in the first week! Only 17.7 more to go!
